How to change the timeframes in WebTrader

Modified on Wed, 14 Aug at 5:33 PM

When facing financial markets, conducting a prior study or analysis of the financial markets is advisable. If we talk about technical analysis, the study of price behaviour in different periods can be essential for making decisions, so in this article, we will explain how we can change or modify the timeframe in our charts on the WebTrader.

What are the timeframes that exist in WebTrader?

Unlike what happened with the MetaTrader platform, in both versions of WebTrader, we have the following timeframes defined without the possibility of adding new periods:

  • Minute charts (M1, M5, M15, M30),

  • Hourly charts (H1, H4),

  • Charts of higher timeframes such as daily, weekly, and monthly (D1, W1, and MN, respectively),

How can I change timeframes in WebTrader?

In both the classic version for MT4 and the new version of WebTrader for MT5, we can change the period of the chart through the toolbar, where we can select the desired timeframe.

In WebTrader for MT4, we can also change timeframes directly through the chart by right-clicking on the chart and selecting the “Timeframes” option.
