When you apply for a live account, you need to provide some documents so we can verify you. Usually, those documents include proof of identity and proof of address (documents and options may vary depending on the operational company you are registered with).
After you apply for a live account and provide the documents, we will need some time to check them. If you already applied for a live account, in your Dashboard you may see a banner at the top of your page that asks you to verify your identity and/or verify your address.
If you click on it, you will see the status of the documents that require your attention.
How long does it take for my documents to be verified?
Document checks go alongside the live account application review. If we don’t receive some required documents, we cannot approve the application.
You may be asked to upload a new document or upload a replacement document if the one provided before doesn’t fulfil some of the requirements. If you see the status “Required” in the document field, it means that we require a document for this section.
If you uploaded the document before, but now see the field “Required” again, it means that the document was declined. You should’ve received an email with the reason for the decline. Please, check your inbox for an email from us. If you are not sure why the document was declined, please contact us and we will help you.
If you see the status “Pending” it means that the document was not approved yet. Kindly wait till it will be checked by our compliance department. If the status is “Verified” then the document was approved.
Kindly note that in some cases we may approve your application, but don't approve the document you uploaded for a live account itself. Nothing to be worried about – if you are able to open a live account, then the application was approved, and you may deposit and start trading. Pending documents that you uploaded for a live account application will not affect it.
